The biggest differences of Variocage 3G crates compared to the earlier versions are the door functions - the doors now have easier closing systems and gas shock absorbers, which makes the usage much more comfortable. The threshold is about 4 cm, which makes the crates suitable for more cars. The back wall is no longer made of steel pipes, but is a steel grid, which protects the back seat from 4-legged interiour designers. As the new crate comes from the factory partly assembled, it is much easier to put it together.
