Start with an easier challenge - open the WufSalad snuff mat completely and place the treats in a visible place at first. When the dog learns to find them, you can hide the food deeper, use smaller pieces and/or pull the string in the top edge tighter.
Watch your dog in the beginning and forbid if she/he tends to shake the mat. Praise when she/he finds treats without moving the sniffing mat too much.
You can wash the sniffing mat in the washing machine at 40 degrees, preferably in a laundry bag.
The diameter of the bottom of the sniffing mat is 25 cm in the closed position and 35 cm in the open position.
